location: the hotel was near a restaurant, the garden and france. plus it was max 10 mins walk to the lake. we were moved to a superior double room and had a work desk, coffee/tea making facilities, and a dining area.

I did not want to leave there and would have extended the stay. The stay here was perfectly pleasant with helpful suggestions for the rest of my trip. The room was well laid out and reasonably spacious and it had an electric kettle, a mini fridge bar, and a stone fireplace. I thoroughly enjoyed the view of valley.

The hosts were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The breakfast was yummy, but the real highlight was visiting Chateau de Plassac and Les Antilles de Jonzac. They were so worth it! The activities there were off the charts and gave us the adrenaline rush we were looking for. Totally recommend it!

The only thing we would have asked for is a bit more nightlife options for us young party animals. So if you're looking for some late-night fun, you might have to venture out to nearby places.

I had always wanted to visit Soubran, so I chose Domaine La Fontaine B&B for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free private parking onsite, which made it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas. the breakfast served in a 19th-century house typical of the Charente region was delightful. The hosts also offered regional specialties if reserved in advance, adding to the charm of our stay.

Limited facilities nearby for non-drivers.

From the moment we arrived at Domaine La Fontaine B&B, we felt welcome. The hosts, Ilse and Mark, were very hospitable and made us feel right at home. The location of the B&B was excellent, close to the A10 motorway but far enough to avoid any noise. The room was very comfortable, and we had a fantastic dinner which we had booked ahead of time. We were glad we didn't have to search for a restaurant. As musicians, we also enjoyed performing for the family and other guests. It was the perfect start to our holiday and we hope to return again.

If you're searching for a perfect, picturesque pit stop in the French countryside, this charming B&B is definitely an excellent choice. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the overall cleanliness and attention to detail were impressive. Breakfast was delicious, and the eating room facilities were available 24/7. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and their fluent language skills were handy in making sure we had a fantastic time. We also loved the amenities, including the honesty bar, which is perfect for a midnight drink or two.

Friendly owners who provided excellent service and made us feel welcome right from the start. The location was perfect for our city break, with easy access to main roads and attractions. We particularly enjoyed the honesty bar and the stunning views from our room.

We couldn't find fault with anything during our stay here. The experience was wonderful from start to finish.

our recent stay in soubran at a charming b&b was amazing. the hosts were so friendly and spoke fluent english, which made us feel right at home. the vintage chic decor in the old building was lovely. the location was perfect for an overnight stop on our road trip. we definitely plan on returning!
